Hopefully you now know a little about me and how DD’s Cupcakes came about, so I thought it was only right to tell you what I bake.
Prior to the start of DD’s Cupcakes and whilst researching the local area, I realised we are a town of very talented cake makers but there didn’t seem to be a local business just focusing on cupcakes. So here I am! My aim is to specialise in one area, cupcakes. That has been my main focus for the past year and will always be my primary business. DD’s Cupcakes specialises in bespoke cupcakes & cupcake bouquets.
This is the cupcake responsible for the launch of DD’s Cupcakes.
Something so simple in design reignited my baking passion and 12 months on I live and breathe cupcakes, and love every minute.

They may be small but they are mighty, and there is just something about a cupcake that I love. I know I am not alone in this thinking; so my mission is to covert everyone to cupcakes, slowly but surely I will conquer you all (well I will try)! Next on my product list comes cupcake bouquets. What more could you want? A bouquet of flowers that you can actually eat! The bouquets not only look amazing but taste amazing too (honestly, don’t just take my word for it), check out my 5* reviews here. Every bouquet can be personalised to give it a unique and bespoke touch, and are perfect for birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, thank you gifts or even corporate gifts.
A luxury cupcake bouquet containing 19 Vanilla & Chocolate freshly made cupcakes, all topped with a Vanilla buttercream piped in floral designs, finished with handmade fondant toppers suitable for a baby shower gift.
Cupcake bouquets generally come in three sizes
Standard – 7 cupcakes
Premium – 12 cupcakes
Luxury – 19 cupcakes
Although 21, 24 & even 30 cupcake arrangements can be done if requested.
The newest product to join the cupcake family is the cupcake jar!
These jars of loveliness are filled with layers of cupcake, lashings of buttercream, swirls of sauce & lots of naughty treats to tempt even the plainest of taste buds. As a result these are proving rather popular as a teatime treat! And if for some bizarre reason you can’t finis.h it in one go, you can always save some for another time (although I havent heard of this happening too often).
For some a cupcake just isn’t enough, so for those people I have added buttercream drip cakes to the DD’s Cupcakes menu. If these don’t hit the sweet spot nothing will!
These drip cakes proudly stand 6” tall and come in either a 6” or 8” diameter. Flavour can be tailored to suit the customer.
This one is a Chocolate Overload Cake and consists of:
4 layers of freshly baked chocolate sponge, filled with chocolate buttercream & chocolate ganache, finished with more chocolate buttercream, a chocolate ganache drip and lots of chocolates. A Definite chocoholic’s paradise.

Due to the fragile nature of the products I bake I can only cater for local orders within Torbay, Teignbridge, the South Hams and surrounding areas at present. But watch this space experiments are underway for change!
